With the continuous improvement of industrial automation level, inverter brand inverters have also been widely used, but are our use and understanding of inverters completely correct? This is not necessarily the case. Let's take a look at these misunderstandings in the use of inverter brand inverters.

1、 Turn off the power supply when the inverter is not in use

The inverter is an electrical product, so it is better to connect the power supply even if you are in standby mode. On the one hand, the standby machine is used in emergency situations. It is usually not connected or connected occasionally. How to ensure the normal operation of the inverter? On the other hand, the inverter has electrolytic capacitors in the middle part of the inverter, so even if it is not used, it should be powered on regularly to charge and discharge the electrolytic capacitors. It is very important that the inverter cannot be used after it is powered on. The inverter only has the current of the control circuit, which is almost negligible and will not cause great damage to the inverter or greatly reduce its service life.

2、 The higher the power of the inverter, the better

Although the inverter brand inverter must have higher power and can be pulled under heavy load, it has high power and high price, so it is okay to choose the appropriate inverter power. If the load is negative, choose a heavy load inverter. However, it is better not to exceed the third gear of the motor power, which may have a certain impact on the motor protection.

3、 The working environment of the inverter is very dirty and dust removal must be done every day

Many people think that there is a lot of dust in the environment where the inverter is used, so it needs to be cleaned every day. In fact, this is not necessary. In a dusty environment, as long as the environment is not humid, it generally has little effect on the inverter, unless the duct fan is blocked. If there is a lot of dust in the environment where the inverter is used, it is recommended to remove the dust within one or two months. However, dust blowing is also very special. It is better not to do it when charging, otherwise it may damage the inverter.

4、 The output of the inverter should not be equipped with a contactor

The instruction manuals of almost all inverter brands will point out that the output side of the inverter cannot be equipped with a contactor, and stipulate that "electromagnetic switches and electromagnetic contactors must not be connected in the output circuit."

In fact, the regulations of the inverter brand are to prevent the contactor from operating when the inverter has output. When the inverter is connected to the load during operation, the overcurrent protection circuit will operate due to leakage current. Then, we only need to add a control interlock between the output of the inverter and the action of the contactor to ensure that the contactor can only operate when the inverter has no output, and the contactor can be added to the output side of the inverter.

Generally, if the inverter is placed for more than half a year before use, the probability of damage is relatively high due to factors such as the placement environment, the service life of the inverter, and the load rate. The following problems usually occur:

1. The inverter supplies power, the front circuit breaker trips, and the inverter explodes;

2. The inverter supplies power, and there is no display on the panel;

3. The inverter can transmit power, but a fault occurs after operation;

4. The inverter can supply power, but it explodes after operation.

In addition, some inverters in life can still be used normally after being placed for a period of time.
